Liverpool and Tottenham are leading the chase for Wigan midfielder Mohamed Diame according to The Daily Mail, who is available on a Bosman ruling this summer.
The Senegal international looks set to leave the DW Stadium on a free transfer, with a number of Premier League big boys tracking the African star.
The player’s agent Willy McKay has admitted that Diame is eager to move to a bigger club, and has a number of options this summer.
“Momo is one of the best Bosmans around this summer and there are a lot of clubs at home and abroad keen on him, but Momo would like to stay in the Premier League and play for an ambitious club,” the representative confirmed.
“I have met with several Premier League clubs and we are considering all offers, but we have yet to make a decision on where Momo will be going.
“Momo is disappointed he did not play as much for Wigan in the second half of this season, but he enjoyed his time at Wigan, although he always saw it as a stepping stone to move to a bigger club,” he concluded.
